§ 11.14. Radio and Television Transmitting or Receiving Antennas

  • Radio and television transmitting or receiving antennas shall be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code.

    11.14-1   Inspections — Correction of Defects

    The building inspector shall inspect all television and radio receiving antennas to ascertain if the work has been done in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with this section, and he shall investigate all complaints from the public pertaining to such installations and interference caused thereby. He shall also inspect or reinspect any wiring, equipment or apparatus conducting or using electrical current for radio and television receiving service in the Town, and if conductors, equipment or apparatus are found to be unsafe to life or property, or not in conformity with the provisions of this Code, the inspector shall notify the person owning or operating the hazardous wiring or equipment to correct the condition within a 48-hour period or within such other reasonable time as the inspector specifies. Failure to correct violations within the specified time shall constitute a violation of this Code.
