§ 11.8. Electrical Permit Required

No electrical wiring, fixtures or appliances shall be installed, altered or repaired, in connection with any building in the Town, without first obtaining a permit therefor.

11.8-1 Application For and Issuance of Permit

Application for permit shall be made to the building inspector and it shall be accompanied by plans which are sufficient for him to determine whether such work will comply with the provisions of this Code. If the application is filed by a licensed electrician or otherwise qualified person and it appears from the plans that the provisions of this Code will be complied with, permit therefore shall be issued. Such permit shall be posted on the site of the work and kept there until the work is completed.
